REGULATIONS on BATTLEARENA

General
-
When used in these Regulations, the following capitalized terms shall have the meanings set forth below
-
(Team means a group of airsoft players consisting of at least 5 people united for the purpose of joint participation in the Tournament that is led by one of the participants of such a group, the captain, and that has an individual name.

Match means a competition between two airsoft Teams conducted in accordance with a Scenario specified by the Organizer, these Regulations, the Rules and the Specification of the relevant stage of the Tournament.

Game means a set of Matches between two Teams conducted in succession following which the Organizer determines one winner in accordance with these Regulations.

Tournament Events means, when referred to collectively or individually, Matches, Games, training meetings and other events conducted with the participation of one or more Teams as part of a Tournament provided for in the Specification of the respective Tournament or its individual stage.

Group Stage of the Tournament (Qualification) means the stage of a Tournament conducted to identify the Teams that will be allowed to participate in the Main Stage of the Tournament.

Main Stage of the Tournament (Final) means the stage of a Tournament following which the winner of the Tournament is revealed.

Specification means a document whose contents are determined by the Organizer that establishes the features of conducting a certain Tournament or a Tournament stage.

Scenario means a description of the task to be performed by the Teams during a Match and the conditions for determining the winner of the Match.

Site / Arena means a limited territory defined by the Organizer where a Game is played.
-
Rules means the general rules established by the Organizer that are to be complied with in a mandatory manner by all players on the Site during matches and in between that are available on the Organizer’s website at battlearena.io and may be requested from the Organizer’s representatives at Tournament Events.

Strike means a form of the Organizer’s warning a player about breach of the rules.

Coordinator/Local representative - representative of the Organizer of cities or countries of the Group stages. The coordinator is endowed with the functions of the Organizer in a particular city or country. The Tournament Organizer is entitled to appoint and reassign any individual or legal entity at his own discretion by the Coordinator.

Each Tournament is a set of Events (training meetings, Games, Matches, etc.) provided for by the relevant Specification that are conducted in accordance with these Regulations with the participation of a certain number of Teams in order to identify the strongest Team, the winner of the Tournament, following a Game series.battlearena.io

Upon completion of a Tournament in accordance with these Regulations, the Organizer shall determine the winning Teams and their representatives shall be presented prizes.

In order to conduct a Tournament, the Organizer or Coordiantor/ Representative shall provide the Site and other designated venues for the Tournament Events, determine the rules of the game and the Scenarios, provide fair refereeing, and in some cases, at its sole discretion, provide the Teams with equipment and weapons while ensuring equality of arms for Teams participating in one Game/one Match.

The general features of conducting a particular Tournament shall be determined by the Organizer in the Tournament Specification and/or Scenario, which may contain, without limitation, the following information:

about the number of Teams participating in the Group Stage of the Tournament;
-
about the number of Teams participating in the Main Stage of the Tournament, including the number of Teams entering the Main Stage of the Tournament following the Group Stage of the Tournament and Teams entering the Main Stage of the Tournament for other reasons established by the Organizer at its sole discretion;
-
about the Tournament being conducted without a Group Stage of the Tournament, that is, in such a way that the Teams participating in the Tournament are listed by the Organizer in accordance with the rules provided for by these Regulations for the Main Stage of the Tournament;
-
about the prize fund of the Tournament and the features of its distribution among the participants of the Tournament.

The Organizer shall establish the features of each of such stage in the Specifications of the Group Stage of the Tournament and the Main Stage of the Tournament, including composition of the Teams, dates of the Games and other Events, Sites, Scenarios and other features of the Tournament stage in respect of which the Specification was drawn up.

The Specification of the Tournament or its stage may provide certain conditions that are in contradiction with these Regulations. In such a case, the conditions specified in the relevant Specification / Scenario shall apply.

These Regulations shall apply to Tournaments conducted without a Group Stage of the Tournament in so far as they do not relate to the Group Stage of the Tournament and recording of its results.

The Organizer conducts Tournaments in order to create thematic content using materials collected during the Tournament and to subsequently use such content for commercial purposes, as well as for other purposes to implement the objectives of its activities established by the company’s articles of association.

Participants
-
A limited number of Teams shall participate in each stage of the Tournament, as determined by the Specification of such a Tournament.
-
The age of all Team players shall be at least 14 years old. Persons under the age of 18 shall be allowed to participate in the Tournament at the Organizer’s discretion, however, the Organizer shall be entitled to refuse to admit such persons and their Teams to the Tournament without explaining the reasons.

The composition of a Team shall be determined in accordance with the application for participation in a Tournament provided in the registration form in the battlearena.io
-
The tournament participation request should be sent through the dedicated page at www.battlearena.io PRIOR to the start of qualifications. Only registered teams are allowed to participate in qualification games.
-
During the each stage of the tournament every team may change not more than 2 players due to the team captain request, either if it temporarily or until the end of current tournament stage. The exception is the Force Majeure situation like: Disease, absence of traveling ability, or other proved Force Majeure Circumstances.

During the entire Tournament season, players may not move between teams and between countries.

During the entire Tournament season, a player may not participate in a team if he/she participated in the previous Tournament season as part of another team.
-
If a Team fails to comply with the requirement set forth in Clause 2.5 of these Regulations, the Organizer shall not agree to the Team’s substitution of a player. In such a case, the Team shall continue to participate in the Tournament Events in the composition that was originally announced (that existed at the beginning of the stage) or that was formed after one permissible substitution in the relevant stage made in accordance with Clause 2.5 of these Regulations, and if any players are absent, then with a reduced strength.

The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, admit to the Main Stage of the Tournament the Teams that did not participate in the Group Stage of the Tournament. Clause 2.4 of these Regulations does not apply to such teams.

The Organizer, at its own discretion, has the right not to allow any team before the Group Stage of the Tournament or the Main Stage of the Tournament.

The Organizer appoints Coordinators / Representatives for the Group stages of the Tournament in different cities or countries. The Coordinator is guided by the provisions of these Rules and the Specification and is not entitled to amend them.

The Coordinator / Representative independently selects teams for the Group stage, selects the Polygon, conducts the Group Stage based on these Rules and Specifications.

Organizational features
-
The composition of the Teams participating in the Main Stage of the Tournament shall be determined by the Organizer in accordance with these Regulations and the Specification of the Tournament and communicated to such Teams in battlearena.io
-
The schedule of Tournament Events shall be determined by the Organizer or / and Representative and communicated to the Teams not later than two weeks before the relevant Tournament Event.
-
The Organizer may make changes to the schedule of Tournament Events during a Tournament, subject to the approval of such changes by the Teams directly affected by such changes.

Games and Matches.
-
Each Game shall consist of several Matches.
-
All Matches of one Game shall be conducted on the same Site in accordance with the same Scenario in one day. In exceptional cases, at the Organizer’s discretion, individual Game Matches may be postponed to another calendar day.

The Team that refused to participate in a Game shall be deemed to have been handed a forfeit defeat in the Game. Absence of a Team at the scheduled location of the Game at the scheduled start time of a Game shall be deemed to be the Team’s refusal to participate in the Game.

The Team that refused to participate in a Game shall be deemed to have been handed a forfeit defeat in the Game.
-
Absence of a Team at the Site at the scheduled start time of a Match shall be deemed to be the Team’s refusal to participate in the Match.
-
If the Organizer has unavoidable doubts that a Match is or has been played in compliance with the rules established by Sections 6−8 of these Regulations, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, decide to stop the Match and to replay it or to cancel the results of a completed Match and to replay it.

Prize Fund of the Tournament and Presentation of Prizes
-
The prize fund of the Tournament shall be formed by the Organizer and may consist of money and/or non-monetary prizes.
-
The size of the prize fund of each Tournament shall be determined by the Organizer and indicated in the Specification of the relevant Tournament.
-
Unless otherwise provided by the Specification of the respective Tournament, upon completion of a Tournament a prize shall be presented to the representative of the Team recognized as the winner of the Tournament and representatives of the Teams that took the second and third places.

If one of the winning places is taken by a Team disqualified in accordance with these Regulations, the prize awarded to it shall not be presented and shall remain with the Organizer.

To receive the prize of the Tournament, the Team that was awarded the prize shall submit to the Organizer an application for receipt of the relevant prize signed by all the Team members. In such an application, the Team member to whom the prize is to be presented/handed over shall be indicated.

The prize shall be presented to the person specified in the Team’s application for receipt of the prize within 5 business days from the date of such person’s submission to the Organizer of the following information and documents:

a copy of the passport (pages with main data and page with the current residence permit);
-
a copy of the certificate of tax registration;
-
to receive cash prizes, bank account details shall also be provided.
If there are doubts about the authenticity of the received information and documents and if it is impossible to understand the contents of document copies due to their low quality, the Organizer may request to submit to it original documents in the Organizer’s office.

Material non-monetary prizes shall, at the Organizer’s discretion, be awarded at the place where the Organizer declares the Tournament winners or in the Organizer’s office. As confirmation of receiving a material non-monetary prize, the person to whom the prize was presented shall, at the time of its receipt, provide the Organizer with a receipt or another document drawn up in the form indicated by the Organizer.

Refusal of the person to whom the prize is presented to sign and to provide to the Organizer within a stipulated time period a receipt or another document drawn up in the form indicated by the Organizer confirming the receipt of the prize shall entail the Organizer’s refusal to present the prize, and if the prize was already presented, shall entail the obligation of the relevant person to return the received prize to the Organizer coupled with the loss of the relevant Team to receive the prize. In such a case, the prize shall remain with the Organizer.

Uniforms, Weapons, Ammunition and Game Restrictions
-
Teams and their players may choose their uniforms and weapons at their discretion, provided that the requirements for weapons and appearance stipulated by these Regulations, the Rules and the Tournament Specification are met.

A player may have the following weapons:
-
-
one dummy knife;
-
one pistol (AW);
-
one assault rifle (MW);
-
one grenade.
The maximum allowable power of a BB coming out the barrel of a game weapon is 1.44 joules with 0.25g bb.. The priority of measurements will be to joules power. Just for example: you can compare you game weapon bb. speed with 120 m/s or 400 Fps with 0.2g bb..
The allowed weight of the bb in game shall be 0.25 grams.
The maximum permissible rate of fire is 20 rounds per second.
There are no restrictions on the types of weapons listed in this paragraph.

For any types of weapons only mechanical magazines (mid-caps) may be used. It is forbidden to use adapters which are used to increase the capacity of the magazine.

It is allowed to use pistols only in format AEP and GGB (green gaz, CO2).
-
During one Game, assault rifles, pistols and ammunition may be handed over to other members of a player’s own Team. It is allowed between Rounds within the Match.
-
Players may take ammo from a defeated player of their own Team only. They may not request the defeated player to provide any assistance in handing over ammunition.
-
Ammunition shall be replenished during a Game in accordance with the conditions established by the Organizer, which may differ for different Tournament Games but must be the same for both Teams participating in the same Game. When determining the conditions for replenishing ammunition for a Game, the Organizer shall observe the principle of equality of arms for both participating Teams.

The following shall be forbidden during Matches:
-
firing at random (samalian shooting), that is, shooting from behind a cover without visual contact with the enemy. Special means, such as prism, sight or mirror, may be used to establish visual contact with the enemy ;
-
use of other pyrotechnics other than those provided by the Organizer;
-
Physical contact with the opponent, including holding and dragging the weapon from his hands, or real strikes with the gaming knife is totally forbidden (exception is the imitation of cutting moves only, no stubbing).
-
going behind the tape rails placed on the Site and firing (shooting) over them (both from behind them and by placing a hand beyond them);
-
shooting from assault rifles with one hand
-
climbing over windows of structures;
-
throwing grenades into structures (fortifications) imitating buildings through the top, as well as throwing grenades from such buildings outside through the top;
-
shooting in “gaps”, including any opening smaller than an A5 size sheet, that is, shooting through such an opening when the weapon being shot or part of it is located in the “gap” or in close proximity to it at a distance of up to one (1) meter;
-
talking or to gesticulate to other players or spectators when eliminated or injured, except as otherwise indicated in the Specification.
-
move in the Site when eliminated or injured. An eliminated or injured player shall sit or lie down with face down.
-
place switched-on lamps on the Site separately from a weapon
-
Intentionally break the elements of the design of the Site.
-
It is forbidden to get into and in cars on the Site, except as otherwise specified by the Organizers and fixed in the Specification.
-
It is forbidden during the Match to cross the lines of the fence, marked with a keeper's ribbon.
-
No dummy grenades or other objects throws are allowed.
-
No direct throws of gaming pyrotechnical grenades on players to avoid injuries.
-
If any of the restrictions provided for in Clause 6.7 of these Regulations are violated, the player who committed the violation shall be deemed to have been handed a forfeit defeat or imposed on a Strike and the Organizer shall immediately notify him/her thereof during the Match. A forfeit defeat means that he/she shall act as a eliminated player until the end of the Match, and such player cannot be healed until the end of the Match. If a player’s infringement is revealed by the Organizer upon the end of a Match, such player shall, by the Organizer’s decision, be suspended from participating in the next Match or imposed on a Strike. The decision to hand a forfeit defeat or to impose a Strike shall always be taken at the Organizer’s discretion. The Organizer may, at its discretion, not hand a forfeit defeat or not impose a Strike on a player if it considers that the violation committed by such player is not essential and/or is unintentional (accidental) and/or had no significant effect on the course of the Match.
6.9.1. The Strike imposed to the player carries a deduction
of the team’s points from the overall team’s score.
The number of points for a strike depends on the scenario.
(for example in season 6, 1 point is deducted for one strike).

Any attempts to contest the Referee’s actions may, at the Organizer’s discretion, be regarded as a gross violation of the rules and may result in handing of a technical forfeit or imposing of a Strike on a player.
-
The specification of a Tournament stage may, among other things, provide special conditions for the use of uniforms, weapons and ammunition, including, but not limited to, the obligation of Teams and Players to use certain uniforms, weapons and/or ammunition provided by the Organizer at all or some Tournament Events.
-
Two Strikes imposed on a player during a Tournament shall lead to this player’s disqualification until the end of the Tournament without the right of substitution in the manner provided for in Clause 2.5 of these Regulations.
-
Defeats and Injuries
-
A player shall lose a life as a result of any of the following events (unless otherwise provided for by the Specification):
-
impact of a pellet in any part of the body regardless of the presence or absence of protective equipment (helmet, bulletproof vest, etc.), as well as impact of a pellet (whether single shot or a volley) into the protruding part of ammunition, clothes, except for a player’s weapon in his/her hands;
-
grenade explosion within the radius of 3 meters from a player, provided that at the time of the explosion the player was not behind a cover;
-
The following shall not result in a player’s injury or defeat:
-
impact of a pellet or a volley in any part of his/her body by ricochet from any surface;
-
impact of a pellet or a volley in the player’s weapon in his/her hands.
-
A defeated or injured player SHALL NOT leave the Site but shall remain seated or lying (it is forbidden to stand up!) directly on the spot where he/she was hit.
-
A defeated or injured player shall turn his/her flashlight off (of he/she uses one) or direct it to the floor. It is forbidden to hold weapon by hands.
-
A defeated player SHALL NOT talk to (except for the purpose of reporting his/her defeat or injury) or provide any assistance to other participants, in particularity shall not transfer ammunition to other players, except when other players themselves take the ammunition from the defeated player without his/her help.
-
If there are grounds to believe that a player was injured or defeated as a result of enemy actions that are contrary to these Regulations, the Referee may, at its sole discretion, immediately cancel the injury (defeat) of the player in the course of the Match by informing him/her thereof. In this case, the injured (defeated) player shall stop applying the consequences of injury (defeat) provided for in these Regulations from the moment when the Referee informs him/her thereof during the Match. However, a player believing that he/she was defeated as a result of enemy actions contrary to these Regulations shall act as a defeated player until the Referee informs him/her that the defeat was disallowed and he/she can resume participating in the Match.

Players may at their discretion use the defeated player as a cover.
-
The Specification may provide for other conditions. If any conditions indicated in the Specification contradict the Regulations, the conditions of the Specification shall apply.

“Fair Play” principle
-
In all Matches of a Tournament, players shall follow the principle of “fair play”, according to which each player shall independently and honestly determine whether he/she was injured or defeated and take the appropriate actions provided for in these Regulations.
-
The Referee may inform a player of the fact of injury or defeat. Such this decision of the referee, regardless of the reasons, may not be appealed against. A player recognized by the referee as injured or defeated shall act as such.
-
If the referee establishes that a player violated the principle of “fair play”, a “Strike” shall be imposed upon the player until the end of the Match. If such a violation is revealed by the referee upon the end of a Match, the Referee shall, at its discretion, decide on whether to impose a Strike on the player.

The Referee may also decide to impose a Strike on a player in accordance with this Clause if the Organizer receives numerous complaints (more than two) about a player’s violation of the principle of “fair play” or other rules provided by these Regulations during completed Matches from players of at least two other Teams.

Any attempts to contest the referee’s actions may, at the Organizer’s discretion, be regarded as a gross violation of the rules and may result in handing of a technical forfeit or imposing of a Strike on a player.

Recording of Events
-
The Organizer shall, at its sole discretion, make photos, videos and audio recordings of Tournament Events (“Recording(s)”).
-
By participating in the Tournament, players thereby express their consent to the Recording of Events by the Organizer, assume the obligation to participate in such Recordings and not to interfere with it.
-
Exclusive rights to all photo, video and audio materials created in the course of the Events (“Materials”) shall belong to the Organizer. This shall include, in particular, Materials created using video cameras and other equipment placed on uniforms and/or weapons of players (if any).

Under no circumstances shall any remuneration be paid to players for participating in the Recordings or for the subsequent use of Materials in any way, nor for the use of a player’s image and information about him/her in the Materials and the works obtained as a result of their processing.

By participating in the Events, players thereby express their irrevocable consent (give permission) to the Organizer, its involved persons and persons lawfully owing the Materials and the results of their processing (the works) to use the names of players, their pseudonyms and images in the Materials, photos, videos and audios created as a result of processing of the Materials (the works).

Another shooting of matches by spectators is possible only from specially allocated places for the spectator. The Organizer reserves the right to demand that the shooting be stopped from any participant, spectator, or Player without explanation.

Miscellaneous
-
These Regulations have been posted on the Organizer’s website at battearna.io/. These Regulations may also be requested from the Organizer’s representatives at the Events.

After registration in battlearena.io players of all Teams confirm thereby the fact of having acquainted themselves with these Regulations, Rules and Specification and Scenario and undertake to strictly observe them and to demand their observance from other players.
-
These Regulations shall enter into force from the date of their approval by the Organizer and shall be valid in this revision before they are changed or cancelled by the Organizer.

A notice about amendment of these Regulations or their cancellation by making a relevant publication shall be posted on the Organizer’s website, http://battlearena.io, 2 days before such changes or cancellation of these Regulations enter into force.

Players shall acquaint themselves with these Regulations and any changes thereto, for which purpose they shall periodically (at least once every two days) get acquainted with the relevant information on the Organizer’s website.

These Regulations shall be deemed amended or cancelled on the 3rd day after the relevant notice is posted on the Organizer’s website at http://battlearena.io
-
If after the entry into force of the amendments a player continues to participate in Tournament Events, the changes shall be deemed accepted by him/her in full without reservation.

Players shall themselves bear all the risks relating to non-compliance with the terms of these Regulations and the Rules.
-
Players shall be solely responsible for their health and their safety during Games and Matches and for any injuries that they can receive during the Games and Matches, either by their own negligence or as a result of third party actions.
-
Tournament participants shall independently pay all expenses incurred by them in connection with participation in the Tournament, except for expenses that are directly specified in these Regulations as expenses to be incurred by the Organizer.

The results of Matches, Games and Tournaments recorded and announced by the Organizer shall be final and may not be changed.

By registering their Team in battlearena.io to participate in the Tournament, a player expresses his/her voluntary consent to the collection, storage, clarification, deletion, transfer to third parties, processing and use of such player’s personal data by the Organizer and its involved persons for contacting the player during the Tournament, in particular through telecommunication networks, including SMS and e-mail, and for the use of such data in the Materials. These actions may be performed by the Organizer and its involved persons without receiving any additional permissions from a player and without sending any special notifications to the player. Such consent of a player shall be valid from the date of the Organizer’s receipt of his/her Team’s application for participation in a Tournament and within 30 years after the end of the last Tournament in which such player participated.
